This festival is
noteworthy for its imaginative use of green. On this day
all the Lord's garments are green - covering of 'Gadi'
the mattress and the bolsters are green. The ornaments
are studded with emeralds and green precious stones. '
Hindola ' the swing is decked with green leaves. ' Padas
' poetry are sung in the praise of green monsoon
atmosphere. The green colour symbolises love of
Radha And Krishna
